The park is a designated game reserve and is home to a variety of animals including zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, impalas, kudus, and even white rhinos. It offers great opportunities for game viewing in a relatively relaxed setting. The lake itself is a major water reservoir supplying Harare. It’s also a hub for recreational activities like fishing, boating, canoeing, and picnicking. Anglers often catch bream and bass here.
